Austin Adventures Resigns ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Membership as a Result of Operational Reorganization
Tour Operator Plans to Rejoin Association Under Own Brand in Near Future
NEW YORK – September 8, 2017 – Effective September 1, 2017, Austin Adventures resigns its membership in and as such will no longer participate in the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program.
“Travel agents should be aware that payments made prior to September 1, 2017 are protected under the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program. Client payments thereafter will not be covered by the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø program,” advises ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø President and CEO Terry Dale.
Austin Adventures President Dan Austin explained the reason for resigning arises from his recent repurchase of Austin Adventures. He stated that the company values the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø membership deeply and has every intention of re-joining ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø as an independent entity as soon as possible.
Dale added that Austin Adventures has been a valued partner since 2014 and he looks forward to their return.
